Job Description

Homewatch CareGivers of Winter Garden is seeking compassionate, reliable, and experienced English-speaking Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Caregivers to provide in-home care for a female client requiring 24/7 assistance.

The client is a 75-year-old woman who is alert, oriented, and cognitively intact. She recently experienced a fall resulting in fractures to her left arm and right hip. She currently uses a wheelchair and is unable to bear weight on her right leg.

She requires assistance with all activities of daily living (ADLs) but is able to actively participate in her care.

We are looking for dependable caregivers who are comfortable assisting clients with limited mobility and providing safe, compassionate personal care.

Available Shifts

Monday – Sunday:

• Morning: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Evening: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Overnight: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Alternative Schedule:

• Day: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Overnight: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM

Flexible scheduling based on availability. Multiple positions available.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other ADLs.
• Provide mobility assistance and safe transfers while maintaining non-weight-bearing restrictions.
• Assist with wheelchair positioning and mobility.
• Provide meal preparation and assistance with eating as needed.
• Offer companionship, supervision, and emotional support.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Monitor and report changes in the client's condition.
• Follow the client's individualized care plan.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving or Home Health Aide experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Experience assisting clients with limited mobility and transfers.
• Understanding of fall prevention and safe patient-handling techniques.
• Compassionate, patient, professional, and dependable.
• Ability to work independently and follow care instructions.
• Availability for consistent shifts, including weekends or overnight hours.
