Homewatch CareGivers of Central Ohio is part of a company with a 45-year legacy of trusted care. We are nurse-owned and operated, and our owner, a registered nurse, is personally involved with all clients and oversees every aspect of their care. As a non-medical home care company, we provide a wide range of services—from Wellness/Companion care, Personal Care, and Specialized Care to Care on Demand, with Dementia-Certified Support provided personally by the owner. Our focus is on personalized attention, ensuring that each client receives the right level of support to maintain their independence, safety, and overall wellbeing.

Role Overview:

As a Caregiver at Homewatch CareGivers of Central Ohio, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and supportive care to clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with families and healthcare professionals to ensure that each client's individual needs are met, fostering a comfortable and caring environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide companionship and personal care to clients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
2. Assist clients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
3. Monitor and document clients' health and wellbeing, reporting any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
4. Implement personalized care plans developed in collaboration with families and healthcare professionals.
5. Maintain a clean and safe environment, and promote activities that enhance clients' quality of life.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing excellent care.
2. Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role is preferred.
3. Strong communication skills in English to interact effectively with clients and their families.
4. Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
5. High school diploma or equivalent; further training in caregiving is a plus.

Bonus If You:

1. Have additional certifications in caregiving or healthcare.
2. Are knowledgeable about dementia care techniques.

Employment Type & Availability:

This is a Part-Time position that may include shifts on any day of the week.

Location:

This position is On-Site Only and based in Powell, Ohio.
