Role Overview:

As a Caregiver / CNA at Home Helpers, you will be responsible for providing personal care and support to clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our team to deliver the quality of care that aligns with our mission of treating every client like family. Whether you work on-site in Normal, Illinois, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you care for.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
2. Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities.
3. Help with homemaking tasks such as laundry, light housekeeping, and running errands.
4. Monitor and report changes in client health and status to nursing staff and family members.
5. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with clients.
2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
3. Strong communication skills in English.
4. Previous experience in a caregiving role preferred.
5. Must be able to cook and prepare decent, well - balanced meals.

Bonus If You:

1. Have additional certifications related to senior care or specialized training.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is Full-Time, Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm with mileage reimbursment for clients outside of Bloomington Normal.

Location:

This position is on-site only in Normal, Illinois.
