Role Overview:

As a Compassionate Caregiver at Homewatch CareGivers of Ventura, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care to clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with a supportive team to implement personalized care plans that enhance the quality of life for each individual. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you’ll have the flexibility to create a meaningful impact in the lives of those you serve.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Implement personalized care plans to ensure clients receive the best possible care.
2. Assist clients with daily activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
3. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a comforting environment.
4. Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and client progress.
5. Collaborate with the care team and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Previous experience in a caregiving role or a related field.
2. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
3. Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate and respectful care.
4. Basic knowledge of assistance in daily living activities.
5. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed.

Bonus If You:

1. Have certifications such as CPR or First Aid.
2. Possess a relevant degree or training in healthcare or social care.
3. Speak additional languages, enhancing communication with diverse clients.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available for both Full-Time and Part-Time schedules, with availability from Monday to Sunday.

Location:

This position is on-site only and located in Ventura, California.
