Role Overview:

As an Overnight Caregiver at Assisting Hands Home Care of Elgin, you will be responsible for providing compassionate, personalized in-home care that enhances the quality of life for our clients during nighttime hours. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our care management team to ensure client needs are met and that they feel supported and secure while remaining in a familiar environment at home. You’ll have the flexibility to choose between Full-Time or Part-Time opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide assistance with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
2. Support medication reminders and meal preparation according to individual client care plans.
3. Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment.
4. Conduct errands and provide transportation to appointments as needed.
5. Establish a supportive and friendly atmosphere to foster companionship with clients.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
2. Strong communication skills in English.
3. Genuine compassion and dedication to providing excellent care to senior clients.
4. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
5. Reliable transportation and valid driver's license for any transportation duties.

Bonus If You:

1. Have formal training or certification in caregiving, such as CNA or HHA.
2. Are familiar with best practices in senior care and companionship services.
3. Possess experience working with veterans or individuals with disabilities.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as both Full-Time and Part-Time, with shifts available any day of the week.

Location:

This position is on-site only, located in Elgin, Illinois.
