Role Overview:

As a Caregiver at Assisting Hands Westlake, you will be responsible for providing respectful, hands-on personal care to our clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our caregiving team to assist clients in achieving maximum comfort, dignity, and independence. Whether you work on-site in Cleveland, Ohio, you’ll have the flexibility to engage in meaningful work that brings comfort and connection to those who need it most.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide respectful, hands-on personal care to clients.
• Assist clients with meals, routines, and daily reminders.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance client well-being.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
• Document care and communicate changes clearly to the team.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

• 1+ year of professional caregiving experience (STNA preferred).
• Active CPR certification and current TB test are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable, insured transportation.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• A compassionate approach to caring for others.

Bonus If You:

• Have additional certifications or training in caregiving.
• Possess experience with clients who have specific health conditions.
• Are familiar with documentation and care reporting practices.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is Full-Time, available Monday through Sunday with flexible shifts.

Location:

This position is on-site only in Cleveland, Ohio, and we are looking for local candidates or those willing to commute.
