Role Overview:

As a Part-Time Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care of Southeast Georgia, you will be responsible for providing personalized care and support to clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with families to ensure their loved ones receive the assistance they require to maintain dignity and independence. Whether you work days, evenings, overnights, or weekends, you’ll have the flexibility to create a schedule that fits both client needs and your availability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide companionship and engaging conversation to clients.
2. Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
3. Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs.
4. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
5. Provide medication reminders and support clients with mobility and transfers.
6. Transport clients to appointments and run errands as needed.
7. Assist clients with daily activities, promoting their well-being and comfort.
8. Ensure a safe and comfortable home environment for clients.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. A compassionate and dependable nature.
2. Strong communication skills, able to interact with clients and families effectively.
3. The ability to work independently in a client's home setting.
4. Reliable transportation to commute between client homes.
5. Ability to meet applicable background check requirements.
6. Possess certifications in CPR or First Aid.

Bonus If You:

1. Have prior experience in caregiving or similar roles.
2. Are familiar with senior care needs and services.

Employment Type & Availability:

This is a Part-Time position with flexible scheduling available throughout the week, including day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.

Location:

This position is on-site only, and we are looking for caregivers in Nahunta, Georgia.
