Role Overview:

As an In-Home Caregiver at Assisting Hands North Austin, you will be responsible for providing personalized, non-medical support services to our clients, enabling them to maintain their dignity and independence in the comfort of their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our dedicated team to ensure that individuals receive the compassionate care they deserve. Whether you work full-time, part-time, or on-call, you’ll have the flexibility to meet your schedule while making a significant impact in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide compassionate in-home care to clients, assisting with daily living activities.
2. Support clients with personal hygiene, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
3. Engage clients in social activities to enhance their well-being and companionship.
4. Administer medications as directed and help monitor clients' health.
5. Collaborate with the caregiving team to ensure clients' needs are met and to enhance care plans.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Experience in caregiving or a related field, preferably in a home care setting.
2. Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact warmly and professionally with clients and families.
3. Compassionate mindset and a genuine passion for helping others maintain their quality of life.
4. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
5. High school diploma or GED; additional certifications in caregiving or health care is a plus.

Bonus If You:

1. Hold a current CPR and First Aid certification.
2. Are bilingual and able to communicate in languages other than English.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as both Full-Time and Part-Time, with shifts available every day of the week.

Location:

This position is on-site only in Austin, Texas.
