Role Overview:

As a Caregiver / HHA at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for providing personalized care and support to clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with families to ensure that clients receive compassionate assistance tailored to their individual needs. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you’ll have the flexibility to make a significant impact in the lives of those you serve.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with companionship and conversation to enhance their social well-being.
2. Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene support.
3. Prepare meals and assist with nutrition-related needs.
4. Perform light housekeeping duties to ensure a tidy living space.
5. Administer medication reminders and assist with mobility and transfers.
6. Provide transportation and run errands as needed.
7. Foster a safe and comfortable home environment for clients.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Compassionate and dependable, with a genuine desire to help others.
2. Strong communication skills that facilitate client interactions.
3. Ability to work independently in a client’s home setting.
4. Reliable transportation to commute to client locations.
5. Willingness to meet applicable background checks and requirements.
6. Have prior experience in caregiving or a related field.
7. Possess certifications such as CPR or First Aid.

Bonus If You:

1. Are bilingual and can communicate in languages other than English.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position offers full-time and part-time opportunities, with day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts available based on client needs.

Location:

This position is on-site only, specifically in Hoboken, Georgia.
